FRSC’s Deployment of 662 Personnel in Akwa Ibom for Easter
In preparation for the Easter festivities, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Akwa Ibom State has made significant deployments to ensure road safety. A total of 662 personnel, supported by 10 patrol vehicles, two ambulances, and one tow truck, have been tasked with enhancing visibility and reducing the likelihood of road accidents.
Mr. Matthew Olonisaye, the Sector Commander of FRSC in the state, emphasized the importance of cautious driving and adherence to traffic regulations to safeguard lives during the holiday period. The deployed personnel and resources are positioned to provide swift response to emergencies and facilitate the quick clearance of obstructions on the highways.
