Successful Police Operation in Bauchi: 3 Rescued, 8 Bandits Killed
Collaborating with local hunters, the Bauchi Police Command successfully rescued three kidnapped victims from captivity. Additionally, in an operation conducted on April 22, 2024, the command eliminated eight bandits operating near the borders of Bauchi and Plateau states based on credible intelligence on their suspicious activities.
On Thursday, a statement by SP Ahmed Wakil, the command's spokesperson, disclosed that detectives from Gumau, Tilde, and Tulu divisions encountered armed bandits during a routine patrol. A confrontation ensued, leading to the neutralisation of four suspected kidnappers.
