Iranian Foreign Minister Warns of Possible Attacks on Tel Aviv and Israeli Ports
Delivering a stern message, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdullahi described the initial attack on Israel as a precautionary measure.
He disclosed that Iran is contemplating the option of targeting key Israeli cities like Tel Aviv and Haifa along with their crucial economic ports.
During an interview with NBC News’ Tom Llamas at the United Nations Security Council in the US, Amir-Abdullahi emphasized that Iran does not have immediate plans for retaliation unless provoked by a significant Israeli assault.
He elaborated by stating, “Potential targets included Haifa and Tel Aviv, as well as all major economic ports of Israel. Our main concern was to safeguard civilian lives, with our actions primarily driven by military objectives.”
