Bello is appointed by Tinubu as new CCB Chairman
Dr. Abdullahi Bello has been appointed as the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau by President Bola Tinubu.
Senate confirmation is required for his appointment.
Bello takes over from Prof Isah Mohammed, who was appointed in November 2018 by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The announcement of his appointment was made by the Presidency on Thursday in a statement signed by Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity. The statement was titled ‘President Tinubu appoints new Chairman of Code of Conduct Bureau.’
Bello is described by Ngelale as having "over 25 years of professional experience in consulting, banking, law enforcement, financial services, and academia."
