In a recent piece in Haaretz, the once close friend of Netanyahu conveyed his profound sense of shame at the Prime Minister’s apparent lack of remorse, going as far as branding him a "tyrant."
Megged accused Netanyahu of being willing to sacrifice anything, even at the expense of the Israeli public, as long as his grip on power remains intact. He asserted that as long as Netanyahu remains in office, there is little prospect of the conflict coming to a close any time soon.
