Ex-Imo governor, Ihedioha, resigns from PDP
Emeka Ihedioha, the former governor of Imo State, has officially stepped down from his membership with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a resignation letter directed to the PDP chairman in Mbutu Ward of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, Ihedioha explained his decision was due to a misalignment between his personal beliefs and the direction the main opposition party is currently taking.
Despite resigning from the PDP, Ihedioha reiterated his commitment to promoting democracy and good governance in the nation, a cause he has steadfastly championed over the years.
