Government in Nigeria Commits to Backing Training for Teaching Hospital Staff
Ensuring proper training for personnel in teaching hospitals and tertiary health institutions to tackle evolving healthcare challenges has received a commitment from the Federal Government.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima made this pledge during a meeting with the management of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, led by its Chief Medical Director, Prof. Ahmed Ahidjo, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.
Highlighting the prioritization of improved healthcare delivery in President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, the Vice President commended the current management of the institution for its significant achievements over the years.
